Hi Christian,
As you can tell, I'm not very responsive either :) So don't worry.
Unfortunately I'm no longer assigned to the project that implements
munin, so I'm unable to test it. I've forwarded your mail to my
colleagues. Hopefully it'll be helpful to them.
Still, thank you very much for
Which version fixes this? I'm currently on 16.04 using atop 1.26-2build1
and the bug is still present.

This is the same issue as in #1435823 where after a (re)boot, the
/var/run/mysqld directory isn't created, causing mysqld start to fail.
Solution (actually a workaround) is to create the /etc/tempfiles.d/mysql
file.
Package version affected: 5.7.17-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

Using 16.04 here with munin-plugins-core 2.0.25-2ubuntu0.16.04.3 and
experiencing the same problem. Using the mysql_ file from
https://github.com/munin-
monitoring/munin/blob/master/plugins/node.d/mysql_ fixes it. Can we
expect an update for xenial?

There is a bug in resource-agents 1:3.9.2-5ubuntu4.1 which prevents
nginx agent from starting. Fix is here: https://github.com/ClusterLabs
/resource-agents/commit/549fb9ef2a59fc4ea09f2c19aa3379cdc73135f4
With that fix applied, all works well.
