easily reproductible:
when you run tf inside a screen session and the terminal gets resized, all
content gets lost. tf continues to work fine.
is fixed in upstream, when compiling that and running it works.
hence, maybe just version bump

when i recreate a new partition table during the partitioning step in the
installer, it works and fdisk -l looks like this:

after walking through the netinstall for armhf, 1204, the pandaboard ES
does not boot. partitioning was done manually as written here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/OMAP
"does not boot" means: does not even fire up MLO/u-boot/.., e.g. no
serial output at all.
the used version
also +1 on this.
system here is dualhead using the ati radeon driver, not fglrx.
