No, you can't alt-tab or use the gnome-panel or switch workspace. You can move the cursor and the clock still increments in seconds on the panel fine. If it isn't a nautilus issue then I guess its a gvfs issue, I don't know how to tell though. -- Nautilus FTP disconnection locks desktop
