No. Well, this is an old case now, anyway in HH I haven't seen any
related problem but I did not reinstall libxine1-gnome again as well.

I've got this problem with Kubuntu Hardy

I could solve this by killing the Kaffeine process and deinstalling
libxine1-gnome.

I'm having the same problem on a desktop with a Realtek ALC850 (Board
Asus K8N-E Deluxe). The modules 2.6.20 work fine, the 2.6.22-14 and the
backport don't. I can actually boot with 2.6.20, make a soft reset,
reboot with 2.6.22-14 and everything seems ok, but when cold-starting
with 2.6.22-14 th
