This issue still exists in ubuntu 21.10. I have tested the same with other
distros and discovered that the issue occurs only in my lower end hardware with
Open GL. In KDE this issue doesnt occur when changing compositor to XRender
instead of OpenGL.

i have low vision so i need to use screen magnifiers and i am having a
lot of issues with the zoom feature in accessibility.
1. zoom focus shifts - lets assume a window in the
software boutique blank on a fresh install on virtual box with 3D
enabled . Disabling 3D in virtual box fixes the issue .

I am having the same blank screen issues on ubuntu-mate-welcome and
software boutique on a fresh install on virtual box with 3D enabled .
Disabling 3D in virtual box fixes the issue .
