(a year?).

I took the approach of re-installing Ubuntu 10.04 i386 (32 bit), whereas
previously I was running 10.04 x64. With my new, stock installation, the
BankWest login works as intended. :) So I can only suggest that it was
either the 64 bit installation that had something 'wrong' with it, or
the Java tha

Confirmed for Karmic 9.10 on an ASUS EEE PC 1000he / Intel GMA 950.
It only happens when Monitor hasn't been plugged in at boot time.
Sometimes I can avoid it by switching Fn-F8 into mirror both screens.
Using gnome-display-manager after that works fine in most cases - any
resolution.

I can confirm that this (or very similar) still exists.
I have just upgraded to karmic, and the bug hit me.
(playing video in mplayer, the sound suddenly stops)
The workaround suggested by Alexander S. Gryanko at 2009-08-15 have
fixed it.
