When I try to exit a shell (either by pressing Ctrl-D or typing 'exit')
guake freezes the tab: it doesn't close it, afterwards several things
fail: like trying to open a new tab (Ctrl-Shift-T), copying and pasting,
etc...

It seems that this bug isn't been worked on.
I have the exact same problem. My laptop is also an HP: pavilion
dv2025nr. The same lspci gives the same result.

Hi all,
I have bought a laptop (amd64 Turion) and installed Ubuntu Dapper
amd64-generic on it.
I have notice that whenever I turn the laptop on disconnected from power
line, Ubuntu does not notice this. Then, it does not apply my preference
that it should shut itself down
