I have to say that I don't quite understand what happened to the mplayer
package now. It is clearly stated on the homepage (http://mplayerhq.hu)
that the just released rc3 is intended to be used with the ffmpeg 0.5
branch. However the ffmepg package in Maverick is from the ffmpeg 0.6
branch. Even m
Just wanted to say: This bug is fixed for me now (not sure why).
Although the resolution of Plymouth changes while booting and it doesn't
quite look right I get successfully to the login.

The fixed version by moma also works under lucid, too, you just have to
temporarily comment out one line in /usr/src/YOUR-KERNEL/Makefile
search for "pg" and comment out the line in which it is, then compile
your kernel module and then reverse the change, install the module etc.
Is there some way
well a binary or at least a little guidance would be nice... i don't
really know how to handle the ubuntu.diff
