again!

Bibisect is useless since the bibisec code does not include the DE
integration. In fact I've tried and was not able to reproduce the bug,

Confirm on Debian GNU/Linux sid, KDE 4.10.5 and LiBo 4.1.3.2.
Computer completely frozen, also not responding to ssh login, had to REISUB,
very bad.
I've some schools where I've Kubuntu 12.04 and recent LiBo and KDE
(repositories with recent version) and happens there too (that's the reason
I totally agree, I raised the issue YEARS ago in OOo, founded (with a
small donation as a thank you and convincing a developer) the
implementation of the snap in Koffice, and today, with 4.0 out, I feel
really sad that to set visually the margin at 2cm I can't do with drag

I've upgraded the installation that was affected (3.1.19-1ubuntu3.12.04.1 has
been installed), removed the workaround in rc.conf, rebooted and works fine now!

Since I use squid, I want to disable FF own caching on disk, and since is a
LTSP installation, I want to do it globally.

As general consideration I find scaring that installing a package can bring
such problems just because

dnsmasq hooks will at nameserver 127.0.0.1 automagically right after the
content of the head file when creating /etc/resolv.conf, so you don't need to
do it yourself
I had a slow startup too. I installed Kubuntu 11.10 choosing btrfs as file
system, and noticed was booting far slower than ext4. I asked in IRC channel
and Chris Mason (wow!) troubleshooted it (how incredible is FOSS world?).

ubiquity does not show sata driver with bios RAID disabled

I've a brand new Fujitsu Primergy TX100 S1 with 2x500 sata hd with NO OS on it.
I've entered the bios and disabled the on board RAID controller, then I boot
from Kubuntu
