I've tested in 24.04 (desktop) and has been corrected: xrdp does not start if
log not correctly configured (permissions).
root@ubuntu:/var/log# ls -l xrdp*

Yes and it is not a delay. The Caps and NUm Locks keys are set to turn
off on release. CHanging this will solve it immediately.

It did indeed work, but only until the next update (yesterday). Now an install

i have a big partition which i mounted as /home (that also was my /home
