I have the same issue with a Cherry keyboard attached to an atom based ubuntu 9.04 box, via a compaq kvm. A NetBSD box attached via the same kvm doesn't have an issue - it detects the key no problem. The ubuntu box doesn't detect the key at the X level - if I run xev I get no output when I press
