The ruby-hyperestraier package puts its estraier.so file into
/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.9.1/x86_64 but ruby loads native modules
from /usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.9.1/x86_64-linux.
I symlinked the estraier.so into the other directory and could use it
with require estraier

I'm currently upgrading my system to lucid and will try to find a fix
for the rt3090 driver.
Can't promise anything, since I have basically only packaged the ralink
driver and have no experience in driver development myself.

Hmm. The karmic driver works for me in lucid. I had to completely remove
the package and install it again though. Otherwise I got an obscure
error message.

I got it working by adding HorizSync and VertRefresh in the Monitor
section in my xorg.conf.
You can get the correct values by running sudo ddcprobe after
installing the xresprobe package. Look for monitorrange in the output.
Seems like the driver is unable to detect that itself and then fails
I have tried the driver from ppa on a fresh jaunty install on a FIT-PC2.
X fails to start. I have attached the xorg log.

myspell-de-de was not installed, but hunspell-de-de and language-

installing myspell-de-de removed hunspell-de-de and language-support-
