I have this problem as well. Using pasuspender -- /usr/bin/gtk-recordMyDesktop as suggested removes the error alright, but also sound, unfortunately. So this is really not a solution if you need to record sound as I do. recordMyDesktop works fine for me until I start Virtualbox and a VM. It's

I have confirmed this on two computers. And you don't even have to have selected a new language. If you open Language Support and do not choose a new language, and press O.K (instead of cancel), you are prompted for administrator password, and cannot escape it unless you actual know the password.
