it was probably fixed. after one of the latest updates of interpid this
does not occur anymore.

i experience this crash while switching from external to notebook screen using
xrandr. there is just
gdm[6844]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0
in syslog and i didn't find any error or backtrace in the Xorg.0.log.
interpid ibex,
i am using ubuntu gutsy, intel driver. after compiz is switched off and
gdm restart performed, the situation is normal and stable.

i have cinepaint_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_amd64.deb installed
and after running cinepaint i get similar result. is it the patched version?
