Problem was solved. Problem was caused by extra memory. It was removed and the
big problems disappeared.
After 10 years, my computer is due for updating.

I have closed and re-opened Firefox several times but while just reading
something - poof! Firefox has gone. Only happening since this afternoon when I
had some memory added. I've used Firefox for years and never seen this. I'm
using Ubuntu 9.04.

Ubuntu 9.04. Upgraded in March 09. System slow. Now slower. To created a new
folder in Bookmarks, takes a few minutes. To sort names, causes freeze. I have
to force quit. Getting worse.
I cannot give more information as not a techie.
