Well... power management infrastructure really begins to look like a
spaghetti bowl of entangled shell scripts to me (but that's not the
point of this bug report).

the gspca supported webcams to work.
Yet, providing the libv4l package in intrepid won't be enough to avoid webcam
support regression, as all the applications

get this behavior too, in fact lots of files in /dev have bad permission, some
symlinks are missing too. A /etc/init.d/udev restart workaround the problem.

I do confirm that I am unable to trigger that bug with edgy (2.6.17-6-686)
kernel. That is, the provided ahci module is able to correctly drive the ICH6M
