Confirmed grooverunner's workaround: My wipe everything was too heavyhanded,
but did erase the playcount file.

[WORKAROUND]: Wiping all content off of the device (Artwork, songs,
playlists, database) using file operations in Ubuntu appears to put the

Prior to upgrade (13.10 64-bit):
Banshee crashed if iPod was already docked when it was launched; it did not
