There appear to be 14 bugs open that mention FPM currently
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bugs?field.searchtext=fpm),
some of which look like they can be ignored.
* #1283478 - Affects FPM. Crash when non-default configuration used. Raised
upstream with PHP but no activity.

Can this be replicated on newer Ubuntu releases? Specifically Xenial or
Yakkety?
Also, is there a small script that you could provide that can be used to
trigger this bug on Trusty, that could be used to see if things are
fixed already in later releases?

@cl-netbox thanks. I just wanted to know if you've tried my PPA and were
still affected by the issue. Since you haven't, so far that means 3
successes with vivid packages modified with the upstream patch (me, plus
confirmations in #252 and #253) and no failures.

@cl-netbox are you using the packages from my PPA, or the packages from
vivid? i.e. is the full version number 2:1.16.2.901-1ubuntu4 (vivid) or
2:1.16.2.901-1ubuntu5 (my PPA)?

Have a look at the bug in gnome:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354767#c5
It was closed, apparently the Composite X extension in nVidia is buggy.
That would probably explain why the bug went away when the new driver
was installed.
