We should have a stable open source solution to 3D desktopsThis
bug affects me in both gnome-shell and unity 3D. I have been using the
nouveau driver since late in the beta 2 stages.

After a fresh install lightdm wouldn't start. It went to a low graphics

Pretty much everything was unreasponsive. I purged nvidia-173 and
installed nvidia-current and this resolved the issue. Hope this helps

It was sporadic during the developmental stages of onieric. Really no
set way to make it happen, it just happened sometimes while adding a
repository. I haven't seen it I a while and I did a fresh install 11.10
and added a bunch of repositories with no issue. Sorry I can't help
more.

Brasero fails to write track information when creating audio CD

Public bug reported:
Last night I upgraded 10.10 to 11.04. All went well except when I boot
my computer I do not get the grub bootloader display. Bios boots then my
monitor goes blank and gives me an out of range message. Then after 30
seconds or so I boot into 11.04. I tried to reinstall grub
OK this is /etc/default/grub:
# If you change this file, run 'update-grub' afterwards to update
# /boot/grub/grub.cfg.
GRUB_DEFAULT=0
#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=10
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2 /dev/null || echo Debian`
I'm sorry Fabio I didn't uncomment #GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 correctly.
Thanks for the help. This resolved my issue.
