On my Kubuntu 16.04, updgraded with actual packages, KRDC asks for
password of "kdewallet", which always fails though correct password for
kwallet is input. Starting passwordmanager explicitly (in german
language "Passwortspeicher") the input window asks for "kdewallet"
password for program

present to fix this bug. It's just a matter of knowing the size of N
rectangles, where N is the number of displays.

I had to completely remove the fglrx, removed xorg.conf, rebootet with
opensource radeon driver, and than I did a fresh install with jockey,
this solved the problem.

This is in Ubuntu 10.10. I have not confirmed that it exists in earlier
versions of Ubuntu, but I do suspect that to be the case.
Brasero won't recognize a blank BD-R. I can, however, burn
after upgrading to 10.10 and switching back to the opensource driver nothing
changed, temp still 70° and fan was always running.
I know that the new kernel 2.6.35.x has some radeon specific powersaving
features implemented, after searching a bit I've found the relevant
information. It seems
obviously, there was never any real intention of canonical to help us in this
case.
The case was openend in April, now we have September, it looks like, that they
just waited until 10.10 has been released.

/etc/apparmor.d/usr.binfirefox and a symbolic link of same name to
that file in /etc/apparmor.d/disable.

Using Lucid, up-to-date, kernel 2.6.32-21-generic. I have had this
problem since 2.6.32-19-generic, where I was going to report it but
updates were available, so I had hoped that the problem would go away.

This does look like it's similar to my bug 568605, but I used the kernel
as the thing to blame, since this problem also affects the standard
text-mode console with KMS. I am currently running the packaged
upstream to see if the problem persists there, and will try other
upstream kernels built
I guess the question then is should bug 568605 or this bug be the master
bug? I'll let someone closer to the Ubuntu development process handle
that decision.
