To fix the problem I need to manually edit /etc/resolv.conf and replace
dnsmasq's 127.0.0.1 with resolve's 127.0.0.53 (or any other reachable

The bug introduced in 2.4.10 (which is already published in xenial-
security) causes applications using it (Geary, Evolution, others?) to be
crash regularly. I don't use Evolution, but for Geary it reliably causes
multiple segfults a day.
2.4.11 simply fixes that bug and includes a few other other
2.4.10 introduced a serious bug causing consistent crashes in at least
Geary and Evolution. Please upgrade to 2.4.11 which resolves these
issues per Bug #1571071 / #1570278.

It hasn't worked on the MBP 12,1 on any of the 4.x kernels, and I'm

initialisation problem, and it might be a race. On power-on, one of two
different things will happen after the Mac startup chime:
1. Usually, there will be along pause (30sec? 1min?), some random display
corruption, then boot proce

Just to confirm, using kernel 4.2.0-16-generic, downgrading linux-
firmware to 1.148 caused the problem to reappear then upgrading it back
to 1.149 caused the problem to go away again.
So it seems this issue was caused by the Broadcom's firmware, rather
than the kernel.

On my MacbookPro12,1 with Wily and Linux 4.2, by default the kernel
successfully suspends but then immediately resumes again. The problem
seems to be the XHCI controller causing spurious ACPI wakeups. After
disabling it using the following command:

More testing: Yesterday I had two successful suspends in a row, and then
the bug occured again. I had the same error with usb. Looking around,
now I think this is the same as Bug #631464 The syslog there has the
same message about "usb_dev_suspend+0x0/0x20 returns -16".

I also have a 410s. On 10.04, I notice the suspend-then-immediately-
resume bug, but I can't reproduce it every time. Last time it occured, I
did notice this in my syslog:
