The sed script hint is just a workaround, the actual problem seems to be that the Squeak VM this package depends on is compiled without support for the X shared memory extension. I just filed a bug about this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squeak-vm/+bug/329038 -- etoys does not
