Yes, the feature was never added to compiz, and still does not exist in
the 12.10. On the other hand, window docking with Ctrl-Super-(arrow)
has been added, which is almost enough. It would still be nice to have
window snapping during regular moves and resizes, but the current
functionality is
Same here. In fact, this bug report is how I found out how to show the
album art. It seems the art pane is just hidden below the bottom of the
window. I was able to partially view the album art of the currently
playing song by switching to small display, then back to full, then
resizing the window
I have not encountered the problem for a while, so perhaps it was just a
hardware problem or some other exceptional issue on my machine. Feel
free to close this bug, and thanks for the follow-up.

According to the man page, The cal utility displays a simple calendar
in traditional format and ncal offers an alternative layout..., so the
switched axes are not a problem with ncal. But I do observe the problem
that the -M option does not cause the week to start with Monday with
cal.
$ cal -M
The man page is shared for cal and ncal, and it says ncal has more
options, so it may be the case that the -M option is only for ncal.
Until this gets fixed, I came up with the following workaround:
$ ncal -M -C

What Timo said sounds right. The problem persists even if a window is a

System hangs on resume while connecting to network

I am running Ubuntu 10.10, but this problem has been around since Lucid,

This bug seems similar to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/673168, so it might
be a duplicate, except that it occurs for me on wireless connections
rather than cable (I haven't tested cable connections), and I don't see
any noticeable effect concerning the pressing of keys.

Thanks Steve, bug #501801 is exactly the problem I'm experiencing. I
suppose the other, pre-reboot, symptoms I was experiencing were because
of the errors in / caused by an upgrade (which sounds like another
bug...). I'll look for the update.

I believe this is the same problem I'm experiencing. I have not found a

first one was a XKB error, and now I am having a strange issue where

compiz doesn't obey some keyboard shortcuts
I observed this in Jaunty Alpha 4. I'm running a Thinkpad x61t.

matter what the keyboard shortcut, but those same shortcut keys work
