I also had this problem in openSUSE 11.4 64 bit with KDE 4.6.0. I fixed it for me by: 1. removing files: ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde4, ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde 2. Go to KDE settings Application Apearance GTK styles and fonts 3. Select QtCurve theme Maybe your need to try other themes. Your may want also to
