have implemented this now, CUPS printers are now assumed to always support
collation, and for PDF based printers we call cupsAddOption("collate", ...)
while PS based legacy printers still get their weird PPD stuff.
this has been tested on 1 HP printer so far, but that one probably worked

i don't know about suse builds but the upstream builds from
libreoffice.org definitely do not

i'm also not happy with this as MAB, since the effort to fix this would
be huge as it's an inherent limitation of Writer's document and table
model.
only thing that could be done easily is to have select-all select
everything _except_ the table at the start of the document (instead of
whatever sil
deadlock during startup sounds like bug 33484;
can you try if it still happens in a 4.0 RC2 or later build or
a build from the 3.6 branch that is newer than 3.6.5 release?

the autocorrect language dependent, OOo issue 20348, implemented by Cedric.

it seems that the change is that this 2nd -> 2^nd replacement is now
somehow language dependent:
OOo 3.4beta: 2nd will be autocorrected even if LC_ALL=de_DE and the
currently active document language is German.
LO 3.4.6 and current 3.5:
2nd will not be autocorrected if the locale LC_ALL=de_DE _o
interesting, that looks like a regression from

we have similar crashes in rhbz for LO 3.5 Fedora packages,
though i think we closed them as they were not reproducible.
the 3.5 packages are for Fedora 17, which uses GCC 4.7.
so it seems this doesn't just affect tests, but real users also.
