Attempting to suspend turns off screen, then promptly comes back on then
off again (black) and hangs.
When installing Ubuntu, no swap was present on the SSD. Swap was added
to the end of the drive. I noticed that Swap is NOT automatically on and
`sudo swapon -a` is not
Confirm the same problem with MacBookPro11,2

I stumbled on this today as well. 8GB drive.
1. Clicked Erase Disk
2. After a LONG time, it seemed to not be doing anything, so I quit the
application (with the X button, not a kill; no error was given.)
3. Formatted the drive via Disks application.
4. Re-opened Startup Disk Creator and

Using nvidia-settings, I enabled both monitors (both are ViewSonic
VX2250WM-LED - one is plugged in via HDMI and the other via DVI-dual)
and hit Apply -- Both screens are enabled but image is extremely
distorted plus the image displays the same on both monitors and at about
*bump -- looking for an answer to @computermacgyver's comment.
