To follow up on buldozer2003's offer, would it help if we bought you a beer? or in some other way contributed to your work that I think many of us find extremely valuable? :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs

We just applied the fix from #132 (with the correct rtl8192ee-dkms package name) on one of the T440s laptops in our office. Seems to have worked, but only 15 or 20 minutes have gone by so far :) We'll try rolling this out to another one of our laptops. I'll post back if we run into any other issue

one other point, I believe this is new from when I was on 12.04 + raring kernel which I just upgraded last weekend to get 14.04/3.13.0-29-generic stock kernel $ lsb_release -a LSB Version: core-2.0-amd64:core-2.0-noarch:core-3.0-amd64:core-3.0-noarch:core-3.1-amd64:core-3.1-noarch:core-3.2-amd

just FYI, we installed the kernel from #66 and couldn't get wifi working. We could occasionally scan, but never connect. Debug logging from #71 resulted in an endless spew of log messages into syslog (or dmesg). Also, we got occasional system crashes. we've since re-installed vanilla 14.04, waitin

2014-02-04 Thread Nick Gerner
I'm not sure if this is being tracked elsewhere, but I'm certainly finding that /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold (for example) gets reset after resume from sleep. I'm using sysfsutils and my workaround is to drop a script in /etc/pm/sleep.d/90_sysfsutils: #!/bin/sh # Tell gr

[Bug 406865] Re: [Intel GM45] 3D applications fail to run in WINE

I have what I think is the same issue, and I think I'm running the very latest wine install (not in ubuntu). The strange thing is that it's worked for me a couple of times. I thought restarting X would fix it (i.e. crash on second launch) but it doesn't. And X crashes when I try to run this some
