I was in the process of trying to test the upstream kernel but I don't
think I did it completely. However, the problem seems to no longer
exist. Could you please check to ensure that the problem no longer seems
to continue.

There was no upgrade done. In terms of the update unless a "sudo apt
update" counts I don't think anything was done.

After putting my

I am using Ubuntu 16.04. After putting my laptop to suspend (lid down),
it does not wake up again. This does not happen when I lock it (windows
key + L) it resumes operation on keypress. This has started happening
around 1 month ago, I am not exactly sure. This is an Asus
