Yes, it's not the kernel propably. But something else. I think it might be xorg or maybe fglrx? Thought it does not work with open source driver either. Maybe we should test with latest radonhd(version 1.30). Or it just might the kernel too. You said you tested with debian 5. It uses later kernel
