Public bug reported: Sound worked in Ubuntu 11.10. Fresh install with 12.04 Beta 2 fully up to date as of April 3 2012. Sound works mostly fine from the speakers; when I plug in the headphone jack no sound comes out. I don't know if pulseaudio is the cause or it's a problem with the kernel/alsa.
