A little video capture to show the problem.
Due to capture, blinking is not always visible on the video, but you can see

Same problem here with Lenovo 3000 Y200 (6469-22R), with Insyde´s BIOS
(12/06/05) and gutsy kernel 2.6.22-14-generic as well as with vanilla
2.6.23.8 with linux-phc. Stuck at 600 and 800Mhz with acpi-cpufreq.

I use wicd to connect using wifi, but I have the same problem with
knetworkmanager.
Once connected, all is ok. But after a couple of minute of inactivity (i.e.
absolutely NO packets sent or received), the connection is lost.
For example, if I ping my gateway about 10
deletedaccount, to avoid the problem, I suggest to not install eclipse
from repository, but downloading .tar.gz from eclipse website, and untar
it into /usr/lib (for example).
I did it on the desktop and laptop computers... waiting for the bug to
be corrected...
