I got problems here too on a HP mini 311. xubuntu 10.04 rc installs, but I
can't boot up afterwards. Just hangs after loading b43-pci-bridge

Raising the PCM volume level works for me too. I can't imagine that all

This started after an upgrade sometime between yesterday and the day

7.04 to 7.10, or maybe between 7.10 and 8.04. I have since installed a
fresh 7.10. The bug disappeared and I have probably no way of recreating

After a reboot all keys on the keyboard acts like the alt key is
constantly pressed. The problem disappears when I change some random
Keyboard layout options and close the window. I use swedish keyboard
