I have significantly longer boot times in Karmic compared to Jaunty (not
to mention it won't boot at all 1 in 3 attempts, but that's likely a
different bug).
I'm running a Dell Mini 9 (I've upgraded the SSD to a 32 GB SuperTalent
SSD).
I've attached my last four bootcharts if it helps. Any

I can't reproduce this bug in Karmic Alpha 3. My SDHC cards are
correctly read by Nautilus when using my USB SDHC card reader and when
I'm accessing my N800 via USB cable. I tested a 8GB and 4GB card. So,
it would appear to be fixed!

image, and I could set my desktop effects to Normal without any tearing.

Under Jaunty, setting Option AccelMethod UXA like you suggested does
actually fix the tearing problem for me with xserver-xorg-video-intel
2.7.1, but the performance was absolutely awful. Performance running
the Karmic Alpha 2 Live image was fantastic.

I am still having the same issue with my two SDHC cards, and I'm fully
updated.
I imagine this bug could be a big deal to people who have moved their
home folder to a SDHC card in the internal slot for extra storage when
they try to upgrade.

I just had maximus segfault again, this time upon closing gparted. I
has started gparted from the command line and formatted an sdhc card.
Apport popped up immediately after closing gparted. As reported above,
everything seems to be functioning as it was before the crash. Maximus

I have UNR installed on a Dell Mini 9, and I have gotten this crash a

I just filled a bug against Pidgin has some similar ideas. I had the
