It seems like sni-qt does not pick up on
QSystemTrayIcon::setContextMenu, nor any changes done to the context
menu (setText/setEnabled etc).

I have this to too. Youtube-videos have unbearably low frame rates, but
ok audio. With Vimeo both video and audio is choppy. Google videos seem
fine. This is with flashplugin-installer 10.0.42.34ubuntu0.9.10.1 in
Chromium (from daily PPA). I have an Asus Eee PC 901. Visual effects are
enabled.

Can I just wait a while, chroot from live-cd and do apt-get upgrade when
the packages are fixed?

I did update + dist-upgrade, saw that initscript was kept back, but went

I see this issue in Intrepid Ibex with an Eee PC 901 (also intel sound).
I also seem to get (rare) intermittent crackling when not in mute.

I have the same problem here on Hardy with Compiz. I'm running an Nvidia
7600 GT. Alt+SysRq combos makes console switching work, then after
killing compiz everything works again.

I have the same problem. Using nv works but without 3D, so I use kernel
.12 with nvidia awaiting new update. These are the kinds of mistakes
that will drive people back to Vista/XP if they try out Ubuntu, so
please try not to break stuff like this with updates.
