Same problem, upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 and ctrl, shift, alt etc all
disconnected my synergy session. I upgraded to 1.4.8 client on ubuntu
and server on windows64 and now works! Thanks.

On boot up the PC completely freezes and only resolution is a forced
power down. I suspect the wireless configuration is causing this when
no wireless network is present this does not happen. Any help would be
gratefully received. I am using a Dell mini 9 with Ubuntu 8.04
