Public bug reported:
I was trying to resize my Intel SSD on my Dell Latitude L501x core i7
8GB RAM.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04
Package: ubiquity 2.21.47
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-7.22-generic 4.4.2
Uname: Linux 4.4.0-7-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.20-0ubuntu3
Fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04.2 and ran a sudo apt-get update.
Grub2 failed to install. Keeps pointing to a directory.
My lsblk:
[pete@pete-Latitude-E6420 ~]$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:00 931.5G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:10 350M 0 part
├─sda2 8:20
I would like to add my two cents to this. I just upgraded from 10.04
netbook edition to 10.10 netbook and it doesn't want to wake up. The
only thing is to cut the power and restart. It kind of sucks when I
don't think about it.
