seems to be with the intel-microcode version
3.20180425.1~ubuntu0.14.04.1. Version 2.20140122.1 seems to work well.

On the other hand, it looks like you migth need to do a new wineconfig
with the export WINEARCH=win32. My workaround was to move .wine to
.wine-64 (just in case you have something there that you want to
backup). Then, set the WINEARCH to win32 and run the winecfg to create
the new .wine.
Personally, I worked around it by using totem/rhythmbox. Of course, that
annoys the hell out of me since I also love amarok and KDE. Jonathan
Riddell (aka jr) is doing a hell of a good job, so, let's see how this
progresses in the near future.

commands:

Tested it in Kubuntu also. Same behavior. The samba/cifs are slower than
sftp even. There must be something wrong with the smb/cifs... Or it
might be related to wifi and 802.11n nm reporting 0 kbps (is actually
160M).

Thanks for the interest in fixing Ubuntu. May I ask you ASK (from comment #47)
how is this related to calibration? Can you find another bug report related to
penmount that discusses the restart issue? If there is no other related bug,
please file a new one.

DMA02, regarding your post #44, please make it as a question. I can
suggest then that you could run a cut /dev/ttySx and see what is the
output when you touch the panel.
