I can confirm that this is an issue as I had the same thing
I did a pkill seahorse-agent and then gpg card reading worked again...

imported it using Key-Import.

I had to install ant first (apt-get install ant) and then build (cd
firebug1.2 ant) and then I installed the xpi file from the dist folder

I feel your pain too - but demanding someone fix it is not the way
forward - infact it has already been fixed in Firefox upstream and we
are just waiting for

I did a reinstall of xubuntu beta today to try and resolve this -
firebug worked out of the box after the reinstall - until the apt-get
update/upgrade completed - now it doesnt work !!
What info can I give you to help you debug this
