Updating to BIOS F.23 did solve the issue for the main SD which gets
mounted (see new dmesg at 209). There is now just one final one which
still fails but works on another pc (dmesg at 170).

This worked for me in Natty
Try installing virtualbox-guest-additions-iso from Software Center or
Synaptic Package Manager. Then try again to install quest additions, and
it should not ask you to download it, but open the Install Wizard.

The same thing happens to me too, display freezes put mouse movement is
registered (the mouse moves on the screen).
I have Ubuntu 11.04, screensaver set to GLSlideShow only the same thing
happens with gnome-screensaver. I think it might have something to do
