This bug is a joke. This has problem has existed for YEARS. Just search
on the internet for Ubuntu no sound on speakers and you will see this
EXACT SAME issue back in 2012 or 2011. Five or 6 years and you still
can't / don't want to fix it? Ridiculous. this is a problem on Dells,
Acers, Toshibas,

I can't get my laptop speakers to stay running.
What happens is that when I first start up my laptop, sound will come out of
the speakers for 2-3 minutes and then stop.
Same problem here when using Scribus. Solved by removing qt-at-spi. No
ill effects so far ...
