I had a terrible delay in every game from Maelstrom to Urban terror.
Sound was playing 0.1-0.2 seconds later than it should. That's already
too large delay, very annoying. Maybe your whole second delay is some
complex problem, or your cpu is slower.
Anyway I've just disabled and removed

What I tried is to remove pulseaudio from the list. It can only be done by
update-rc.d with -f flag.
If I use rcconf or sysv-rc-conf to remove anything, then corresponding files in
/etc/rc* directories are removed only to be placed back again
It was a mistake. I've read proper docs now..

Maybe it would be better to consider this bug as a feature? (rather
useful by my experience in backing up root and home partitions ;) ) and
provide a switch to turn it on and off. Or a way to change uuid manually
if needed...

I've installed both (ati, radeon) dbg packages with their dependencies (r128,
mach64 dbg's), even reinstalling ati and radeon driver packages.
...maybe X was not fully restarted after that... I tried ctrl+alt+backspace,
stopping gdm by init script, so there were no gdm or Xorg in ps -A output.
They just work.

you have to:
remove all libqt4* packages and libqtcore4, libqtgui4
turn off backports repo
reload index, install stellarium and other packages that was deleted by
dependencies
lock libqt4-core and libqt4-gui versions via Synaptic.
then you can enable backports repo again
