Just tested kernel 3.0.0-19.32 in proposed repo and...wooohoo...I'm
confirming that sending files works! (Galaxy S i9000) Nevertheless,
browsing files still doesn't, but that is another issue...

This is a regression issue, it used to work smoothly on previous versions
(though I couldn't tell when problems started).
Either it should be fixed upstream or the --disable-gestures option should be
activated by default.

Same symptoms are experienced here. I have 3 important comments to make on this
bug:
-Please note that graphical bug is also reported in the bug description, which
I also experience on my system.
-The
I cannot send, receive files or browse files. The browse button in
the window appearing from the Browse files on device... line in the
applet menu (notification area) makes the applet crash.
Terminal displays:
(bluetooth-applet:3767): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid
uninstantiatable type
Can be fixed by killing upowerd ( /usr/lib/upower/upowerd). A script can be
written in /etc/pm/sleep.d/ to do this at each resume from sleep.
An upstream fix is strongly desired though.
