I just noticed I didnt have the Private encrypted folder in my Home folder. I fixed the Places menu item by doing the above suggestion by going to properties and choosing open using Open folder instead of VLC. -- opening a directory using an application change associations incorrectly

Public bug reported: While navigating the Places menu I accidently dragged the Desktop icon unto my desktop. This created a folder on my desktop labled Desktop. I sent this folder to the trash and I cannot delete this folder. When I open this folder while it is in the trash it has created

Well i have 3 Desktop folders in my trash bin that I cannot delete that says it is possible. I also had a friend duplicate this however his deleted. I also posted this on the Ubuntu forums and someone else repeated this and suggested I post as a bug. Are you going to Places on the panel and
