I ran "sudo apt-get install -f" and got a lot of errors (see attachment install-errors.txt). I ran "sudo apt-get clean" and it returned with no message. I ran "sudo apt-get update" and got a lot of errors (see attachment update-errors.txt). I had to create a zip file with the two txt files

Jeremey, actually, I'm not sure, but I think the Ubuntu update was compiling the module after downloading the new kernel before the system was rebooted into the new kernel, which is how the module was compiled for the old kernel instead of the new. On rebooting, I was unable to rebuild the module
