Ubuntu 9.10 has the same problem. It installs to an Ext4 filesystem, but kboot doesn't support Ext4. By now kboot is depricated, and petitboot should be used: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/geoff/cell/ps3-petitboot/ It has perfect support for Ext4. -- Ubuntu 9.04 PS3 kboot
