I do not think I am still experiencing this particular issue. I have
been experience a freeze on alt-tab at times, but I can switch to VT,
kill compiz, and then use unity --reset to get back to work. I chalked
this up to a compiz bug. I have updated today, and will log a bug report
for that freeze
The feature was not hidden because it had no benefits, but rather it has
very high costs. A lot can and does go wrong with hibernate, and for
many people, it just never works. It's worth exploring whether we can
get by without the feature.

I purchased Brukkon. Based on my IRC logs, I'm guessing it was around
9:30am EST. Here is the error that was reported to me by Software
Center.

I think the design for this should be considered under the rubric of
notifications. I'll subscribe mpt to see if we can get some feedback
regarding how the pol-kit password notification should work from a Ux
perspective.

policykit password dialog is insecure
I definitely think we should turn on the font by default for the UI, but
not for documents, and not for monospace. In fact, it's my understanding
that this was the plan from the outset. It seems the release team is
supportive of this change as well.
