thanks for the info
but the second line sudo apt-get remove --purge winbind
is not recognized as a command on my computer even if I use the rm
command
and because I was also bitten by the splash

at the bottom of the details it says that the samba version it depends on is an
older version and not the current one installed on the computer the difference
is one nr lower
