After installing ubuntu 18.04, trackpad does not work at all. External
usb mouse does work, though.
$ xinput list

I had the same problem as @jakobrunge, and solved it by setting All
Settings Displays Launcher placement to Laptop (the edge which is
not between both displays).
So I confirm that either it's not a bug but a feature, either it is a
real bug which can be easily avoided.
