Public bug reported: I am using the Kubuntu Beta 2 Live CD to install it on my Sony Vaio SVS13A190X laptop. It has one SSD with GPT partition and uses UEFI. After the prepare step, the installer hangs, presumably because of an inability to read some partitions, going by the syslog (attached).
