I can confirm this bug with a current 12.04 setup. Evince shows the
files just fine but the print (on some printers) doesn't include the
images.
Adobe Reader prints the files happily on the same printers.
Evince 3.10 from 14.04 also prints the files just fine.

thanks for the quick response!
The boot behaviour doesn't change unfortunately, if i switch off
splash and quiet at the grub cmd line.

Can confirm, that this is still an issue on several intrepid amd64
machines.
Evolution crashes reproducibly when pressing the Choose Today button
in the calndar view. I don't seem to be getting any backtraces - just
the before mentioned error message when i start evo from the console.

Can confirm. Thought it was a kolab issue, cause we run all of our
contacts, tasks and calendars on a kolab 2.2 server. Especially the
KMail component is slow.
